Top 11 Finalist | Jade Hubner

Jade Hubner profile

Meet gorgeous Jade...

Growing up, I was a serious tomboy. I played more sports and did more activities than I could count. Who would’ve thought I’d go on to become a Miss South Africa 2014 finalist!?

As a child I played the piano, flute and guitar for a couple of years and have been dancing over 20 years – many styles including ballet, modern, the salsa, greek and some hip-hop. I have competed in singing eisteddfods and during my life have had the pleasure of playing the lead in many musicals.

I am currently a part time scholarship student at Varsity College where I am completing a B.Com degree. I have also started two different businesses with two different partners: the one a financial app and the other called The SnackBox, a non-profit app.

I have participated in many castings and auditions as well as attended events and completing tasks for my ambassadorial roles.

I am always up for any challenge or activity, winning the presenter search would fit perfectly in my life because meeting and relating with multitudes of people and doing activities is what gives my life joy and purpose. I am super passionate about everything life has to offer, my strongest passion lies in the entertainment industry. My dream career would be in television; presenting, acting and singing!

Fun fact: Jade is the founder of the University of Cape Town’s first cheerleading side called The Ikey Tiger Girls. She designed the outfits, picked the girls and choreographed the dances. Now there’s something worth cheering about!
